December 2018 Christmas in Ajo

It’s been an awfully tough year. Mom died a year ago, so I decided to hit the road in a tiny camper to get out of debt in her honor. (Note to self: never make a life-changing decision while in deep grief.) This was my second Christmas without Oreo’s grammy, although the first one was just a blur since her death had been so recent. Thank God for Oreo, cheering me up to no end.

Here’s Oreo in her Santa socks at the studio where I was teaching ballroom dancing. It’s the only place she really gets to run around.

  1. Oreo makes a pretty good doggie dancer herself! That was so cute. I had no idea there was a dance studio in Ajo. We might have to check it out next winter, that’s such a cute town.

    1. And by the way I am sooo sorry about your mom. I had no idea! I’ll bet she is so proud of you taking life by the uh, reigns, and living it to the fullest.

  2. I just caught up on the blogs you posted, so I’ll comment here in the others.

Glad you’ve been able to get those kitties re-homes along the way.
I.ove the video of Oreo proudly bouncing around in his Christmas socks! Soooo cute!!! She looks like an accomplished dancer!
Geez, that time she got overheated must have been so scary.! Quick thinking on your part getting her into the lake!
Yeah, being a tripawd xcan slow ’em down a bit over the years. But I’m so glad Oreo loves her stroller with her favorite Chauffeur 😎

Thanks for the update on uou and Oreo. I know you’ve had some rough times, but you and Oreo continue to shine!
    Hugs
